What is the Prep for a Flexible Sigmoidoscopy?

To prepare for a sigmoidoscopy, your bowel must be fully cleansed. Your doctor will recommend specific instructions regarding preparation. This may include use of any enema to empty out your rectum and lower intestine for clear viewing of the intestinal walls.
